What is a Verified View / AVR?
A Verified View, or AVR (Accurate Visual Representation), is a camera-matched visualisation produced to a verified methodology, used within planning applications to demonstrate how a proposed development will genuinely appear from key public viewpoints. Every AVR is matched to a surveyed camera position, ensuring the building's scale, position and massing are shown with planning-grade accuracy.

Outcome
Submitted to Birmingham City Council on behalf of Bluecastle Capital, the proposals for 42 High Street comprise a landmark 53-storey building delivering 729 build-to-rent homes, a grand colonnade of retail and food & beverage space, and 51% of the site returned to the city as new public realm. Positioned opposite the future HS2 Curzon Street station within Birmingham's #CentralHeart, the scheme is designed to form a new gateway to the city — the backdrop to a visitor's first view of Birmingham as they arrive by rail.
