Verified Views (AVRs), Planning CGI & Architectural Visualisation for Landmark City Centre Development
Our Studio is a UK-based architectural visualisation studio specialising in planning CGI and Verified Views (AVRs) for high-density urban developments. For Whitworth Street West in Manchester, we were commissioned to deliver a comprehensive visualisation package including planning CGI, marketing imagery, and AVRs to support both public consultation and the planning submission.
Working with Glenbrook, alongside architects Sheppard Robson and landscape architects Layer Landscape Studio, our visualisation work played a key role in communicating the design intent, scale, and urban presence of this landmark residential tower to stakeholders, planners, and the wider public.

Visualising a Landmark Manchester Tower
Beautifully designed by Sheppard Robson, the building draws inspiration from Manchester’s rich architectural heritage, incorporating distinctive features such as a triple-height arched terracotta colonnade.
The development will deliver 364 homes across 44 storeys, contributing to Manchester’s growing skyline and offering residents immediate access to the city’s cultural and commercial core. Over 7,750 sq ft of amenity space will be provided across three floors, including external balconies with panoramic views across the city.
For projects of this scale, architectural visualisation is essential in demonstrating how design intent, materiality, and form translate into a real urban context. Our Studio’s CGI ensured these elements were clearly communicated from the earliest stages.

Planning CGI for Public Consultation
Our Studio produced a series of planning CGI and photomontage visuals to support the public consultation process. These images were designed to present the proposals in a clear and accessible way, enabling local stakeholders and residents to understand the scale and impact of the scheme.
By delivering high-quality visualisation within tight timeframes, our work supported effective engagement and ensured that the consultation process was underpinned by accurate and compelling imagery.

Verified Views (AVRs) for Planning Submission
In addition to the consultation visuals, Our Studio produced a suite of Verified Views (AVRs) as part of the formal planning submission. These views were developed in accordance with planning requirements, providing accurate representations of the proposed development from key viewpoints across Manchester.
The AVRs enabled planning officers and consultees to assess the scheme’s visual impact with confidence, supporting informed decision-making throughout the planning process.
Result: Planning permission granted.
